Terms of Service

Last updated 5 August 2026

These terms cover your use of PickleHQ, a platform for booking pickleball courts, joining open play, and entering tournaments in the Philippines. By creating an account you agree to them.

Your account

You need an account to book a court or enter a tournament. You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for what happens under your account.

  • Give accurate information. Other players, venues and organizers rely on it.
  • One account per person. Handles are unique, and we refuse handles that impersonate PickleHQ or another player.
  • You must be at least 13 years old to hold an account. If you are under 18, ask a parent or guardian before booking or paying for anything.
  • Tell us promptly if you think someone else is using your account.

An organizer can create a placeholder entry for you so you appear in a bracket before you have signed up. That entry is not an account and cannot sign in. When you register with the same details you take ownership of it, and your history comes with you.

Bookings and payments

When you book a court, your agreement is with the venue. When you enter a tournament, it is with the organizer. PickleHQ provides the platform they use to take that booking or entry, and is not the seller of the court time or the entry.

  • Payments are made to the venue or organizer, usually by GCash. Most confirm payment by hand, so a booking stays pending until they do.
  • Prices, deposits and what is included are set by the venue or organizer, not by PickleHQ.
  • Cancellation windows are set per venue. Cancelling inside the window may mean no refund. The window is shown before you confirm.
  • Refunds and disputes about a session are between you and the venue or organizer. We will help you reach them and share the booking record.

Using PickleHQ properly

Do not use PickleHQ to:

  • Impersonate another player, a venue, an organizer or PickleHQ staff.
  • Hold court slots you do not intend to use, or book to deny them to others.
  • Harass, threaten or abuse anyone, on the platform or at a session arranged through it.
  • Upload anything you do not have the right to share, or anything unlawful.
  • Scrape, probe or interfere with the service or with other people's accounts.

We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. Where a session has already been paid for, we will try to sort that out fairly first.

What you post

You keep ownership of the photos, results and text you add. You give PickleHQ permission to show them where they belong on the platform, such as your profile, a roster, a bracket or a venue page. You can remove content you added, though results from matches that have been played stay part of the record.

Availability and liability

PickleHQ is provided as it is. We do not promise it will always be available, that a venue will honour a booking, or that a tournament will run as advertised. We are not responsible for injuries at a session, for the condition of a court, or for the conduct of a venue, organizer or player.

Where the law allows us to limit our liability, our total liability to you for anything connected with PickleHQ is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms. If a change matters we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use PickleHQ after that means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, and the courts of the Philippines have jurisdiction over any dispute.
